Description

VERY URGENT POSITION REQUIRED CUSTOM CLEARING OFFICER reporting to Import Team Manager Level/Salary Range: EGP 2500 to EGP 3500 Travel Required: Yes ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Calculation of custom duties & taxes according to H.S. codes • Responsible of labeling instructions and details • Develop product description to match the required custom itemization • Follow up clearing procedures, lab tests, results, lead time and accuracy • Liaison with clearing agents for custom clearance at all ports • Responsible of collecting details, cost sheets & verify them • Responsible of goods transportation to warehouses • Prepare monthly, weekly and daily needed reports • Reconcile custom duties with accounts department • Handling claims and notices from Customs QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • University Degree • Min 3 years of experience in a custom clearing company
